percentages

I read this somewhere. I'm not sure if it's true or if it has been scientifically verified. But what do you think?
Does it sound kind of accurate?

We remember:

10% of what we read.

20% of what we hear.

30% of what we see.

40% of what we do.

100% of what we feel.

    It sounds right to me! I mean, it might not be totally accurate/scientifically proved, but still.

    I think there is some truth to it, which is why teachers like kiddos to read, read out loud and take notes...to absorb more information.
